While at the 2018 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, I had the chance to sit down to breakfast with my good friend Bill Hartman. I’ve only known Bill for just under two years, but I feel that we share many of the same beliefs and experiences around training and performance, as well as return to play approaches. I know that Bill is also a staunch supporter of professional development, mentoring and continuing education, so I wanted to discuss this area more with him. Many of Bill’s interns have gone on to work in prestigious positions in professional and college sports, and have also made an impact on those around them. Together with Mike Robertson, Bill has had a profound impact on the fields of performance training and rehabilitation well beyond there facility in Indianapolis.
Bill Hartman is known for finding solutions for people in pain that have failed with other forms of treatment. He owns IFAST Physical Therapy in Indianapolis, Indiana and Co-owns Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training with Mike Robertson. He is the author of the upcoming book, All Gain – No Pain: The over-40 Comeback Guide to Rebuilding a Fit and Pain-free Body After Pain, Injury, or Physical Therapy.
